Job Description

At Regions Financial Co., we are looking for a highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Asset Management Internal Portfolio Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate for this role will have an in-depth understanding of the financial and asset management industry, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills. They will be responsible for managing the portfolio of investments for our organization, ensuring that the assets are allocated and managed in an efficient and effective manner. The successful candidate will have a degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field, as well as at least 3-5 years of experience in asset management or a related field. They should have a thorough understanding of financial markets and instruments, as well as the ability to develop and implement investment strategies. A sound knowledge of portfolio management and investment analysis techniques is also essential. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about the financial industry, and who is able to think strategically and analytically. Strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and excellent communication skills are also key requirements for this role. Responsibilities of the Asset Management Internal Portfolio Manager:

  1. Monitor and analyze financial markets and instruments to develop and implement investment strategies.
  2. Manage the portfolio of investments for the organization, ensuring that assets are allocated and managed efficiently and effectively.
  3. Utilize portfolio management and investment analysis techniques to maximize returns on investments.
  4. Monitor portfolio performance and make recommendations for changes in investments when necessary.
  5. Generate reports to communicate investment performance and portfolio composition to stakeholders.
  6. Research and identify new investment opportunities.
  7. Remain up to date on industry trends and regulations.
  8. Work collaboratively with other stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  9. Collaborate with other departments to ensure optimal portfolio performance.
  10. Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
