- Conduct financial analysis and due diligence for affordable housing projects, including underwriting, risk assessment, and financial modeling.
- Monitor and report on the financial performance of existing affordable housing projects.
- Ensure compliance with LIHTC regulations and guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify and secure financing for affordable housing projects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders to support affordable housing initiatives.
- Identify and analyze potential risks and opportunities for affordable housing projects.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to affordable housing and LIHTC.
- Participate in the development and implementation of strategies to increase access to affordable housing.
- Provide guidance and support to junior analysts and team members.
- Contribute to the overall success and growth of the affordable housing department at Regions Financial Co.
- Foster a culture of social responsibility and ethical practices within the organization.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences related to affordable housing.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all financial analysis and transactions.

Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or Related Field
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Affordable Housing Finance And/Or Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (Lihtc) Program
Strong Understanding Of Financial Analysis And Modeling, Including Cash Flow Projections And Investment Analysis
Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Affordable Housing And Lihtc Program
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships With Developers, Investors, And Other Stakeholders In The Affordable Housing Industry.
