In this role, you will be responsible for managing our Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties and ensuring their financial success.   1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of our Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties.
  2. Ensure compliance with all LIHTC regulations and guidelines.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with property owners, investors, and government agencies.
  4. Create and implement strategies to maximize financial performance of LIHTC properties.
  5. Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting to monitor property performance.
  6. Review and approve property budgets and financial plans.
  7. Identify and address potential risks or issues that may impact property financials.
  8. Collaborate with property management teams to ensure properties are well-maintained and in compliance with LIHTC regulations.
  9. Develop and maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices related to affordable housing.
  10. Train and mentor junior staff members on LIHTC regulations and compliance.
  11. Evaluate and make recommendations for property acquisitions and dispositions.
  12. Advocate for affordable housing solutions within the community and with government agencies.
  13. Represent the company in meetings and negotiations with investors, property owners, and government officials.
  14. Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on property performance and address any concerns.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures related to LIHTC property management.
  16. Adhere to company values and mission of providing affordable housing solutions to communities in need.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Knowledge Of Lihtc Regulations And Compliance: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Lihtc Regulations, Compliance Requirements, And Reporting Standards. This Includes Experience With Section 42 Of The Internal Revenue Code, Lihtc Application And Allocation Processes, And File Auditing.

  • Financial Management Skills: As An Affordable Housing Asset Manager, It Is Essential To Have A Strong Understanding Of Financial Management Principles And Practices. This Includes Budgeting, Forecasting, Financial Analysis, And Reporting For Lihtc Properties.

  • Experience With Property Management: The Affordable Housing Asset Manager Will Be Responsible For Overseeing The Management Of Lihtc Properties, Therefore, Experience In Property Management Is Crucial. This Includes Knowledge Of Leasing, Maintenance, Tenant Relations, And Fair Housing Laws.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Role Of An Affordable Housing Asset Manager Requires Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills. The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Internal And External Stakeholders, Including Property Owners, Investors, And Regulatory Agencies, Is Essential.

  • Attention To Detail And Analytical Thinking: The Affordable Housing Asset Manager Must Be Highly Detail-Oriented And Possess Strong Analytical Skills.
