At Redfin, we are looking for an experienced Home Inspector who will be responsible for providing accurate and thorough reports on the condition of properties in our area. This is an important role that requires excellent attention to detail, meticulous record-keeping, and the ability to explain complex information in an easy-to-understand way.The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Home Inspector in the residential real estate industry. A background in construction and/or engineering is preferred. In addition, candidates should have a strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards. The ability to conduct thorough inspections and to recognize potential issues is essential. Candidates should also be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form, in order to provide clear and concise reports.We’re looking for someone who is organized and efficient, with excellent problem-solving skills and a customer service-oriented attitude.
