Senior Threat Analyst, Threat Detection

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Threat Analyst, Threat Detection to join Reddit's Security team. Our ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a deep understanding of security trends, and a commitment to staying ahead of the latest threats.The Senior Threat Analyst, Threat Detection will be a key member of the security team, responsible for continuous monitoring and review of suspicious activity, identifying and investigating potential threats, and formulating mitigations and recommendations. The successful candidate will be a leader capable of managing and mentoring a team of analysts and working with cross-functional teams to ensure that Reddit is well-protected from malicious actors.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field such as computer science, information technology, or engineering; 5+ years of experience in security operations, incident response, or threat intelligence; experience with threat detection tools and methods; knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript; and strong communication and organizational skills.
