Job Description

Welcome to Red Hat! We are currently seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to join our team as a Technology Sales Intern. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the technology sales industry and work closely with our seasoned sales professionals. We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology, has excellent communication skills, and is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.   1. Assist and support the sales team in achieving their goals and targets through various tasks and projects.
  2. Learn about the latest technology products and services offered by Red Hat and effectively communicate their features and benefits to potential clients.
  3. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential clients and opportunities for sales growth.
  4. Help create and maintain a customer database, including contact information and sales history.
  5. Assist in creating and delivering sales presentations to potential clients.
  6. Work closely with the sales team to identify and qualify leads, and follow up on leads to convert them into sales opportunities.
  7. Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and other relevant activities to learn about the sales process and gain valuable knowledge and skills.
  8. Provide exceptional customer service and support to existing and potential clients.
  9. Collaborate with other departments such as marketing and product development to ensure a cohesive and effective sales strategy.
  10. Continuously learn and stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to provide informed recommendations to clients.
  11. Maintain accurate and detailed records of sales activities and results.
  12. Proactively identify and address any potential issues or challenges in the sales process.
  13. Embody the values and culture of Red Hat and represent the company in a professional and positive manner.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Technology Products And Services: As A Technology Sales Intern At Red Hat, It Is Important To Have A Strong Understanding Of The Company's Products And Services. This Includes Knowledge Of Open Source Software, Cloud Computing, And Containerization.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Successful Technology Sales Intern At Red Hat Should Possess Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Potential Clients And Understand Their Needs. They Should Also Be Able To Effectively Present And Demonstrate The Company's Products To Potential Clients.

  • Proven Sales Experience: Previous Sales Experience, Whether In A Formal Or Informal Setting, Is Highly Valued For A Technology Sales Intern Role At Red Hat. This Could Include Experience In Retail, Customer Service, Or Any Other Sales-Related Role.

  • Ability To Work Independently And In A Team: Red Hat Values Candidates Who Can Work Independently And Take Initiative, As Well As Collaborate Effectively With Team Members. A Technology Sales Intern Should Be Able To Manage Their Time Effectively And Prioritize Tasks To Meet Sales Goals.
