  1. Lead and manage complex technical projects from initiation to completion.
  2. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  3. Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery and implementation.
  5. Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
  6. Utilize project management methodologies and best practices to drive project success.
  7. Facilitate project team meetings and ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  8. Define project scope and objectives, and ensure alignment with overall company goals.
  9. Monitor and track project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet project goals and deadlines.
  10. Mentor and guide junior project managers and project team members.
  11. Ensure project documentation is accurate, complete, and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and implement new strategies to enhance project delivery.
  13. Act as the main point of contact for client communication and manage client expectations.
  14. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to provide innovative solutions to clients.
  15. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including project management standards and guidelines.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Project Management: A Senior Project Manager - Technical At Red Hat Must Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Complex Technical Projects From Initiation To Completion. This Includes Experience With Project Planning, Resource Allocation, And Risk Management.

  • Technical Expertise: Red Hat Is A Technology Company, And A Senior Project Manager - Technical Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Technical Concepts And Processes. This Includes Knowledge Of Software Development Methodologies, Cloud Computing, And Open-Source Technologies.

  • Leadership Skills: As A Senior-Level Role, This Position Requires Strong Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team Of Technical Professionals. This Includes The Ability To Motivate And Inspire Team Members, Delegate Tasks, And Resolve Conflicts.

  • Communication And Collaboration Skills: A Senior Project Manager - Technical Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Stakeholders, Team Members, And Other Departments Within The Organization. They Should Also Be Skilled At Collaboration, As They Will Need To Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams To Achieve Project Goals.

  • Project Management Certifications: Red Hat Values Certifications Such As Project Management Professional (Pmp) Or Certified Scrum Master (Csm). These Certifications Demonstrate A High Level Of Expertise In Project Management And Can Give A Candidate A Competitive Edge In Their Application.
