Job Description

Work as part of a team testing a utility for automated conversion of Linux distributions derived from Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), distributions include, but are not limited to CentOS and Oracle Linux. Help Red Hat develop modern tooling that directly affects company success. Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites Debug and track issues, verify fixes. Design integration test cases to verify new features and bug fixes. Use Ansible, Python, or pytest to implement the integration tests. Automate the testing with continuous integration (CI) or continuous delivery (CD) services Software-as-a-Serve (SaaS) Testing Farm and Packit. Work on an upstream open source project in GitHub - your test contributions will be visible to anyone including the community and customer.

Job Qualifications

  • 4+ years of related experience

  • Familiarity and some experience with Git or similar version control systems (Gitlab, Github, etc.)

  • Ability to write and document own code, understand already written code; public code samples and Pytest or Selenium knowledge are a plus
