Welcome to Red Hat! We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to join our team and oversee our facilities occupancy planning and space management. As the Program Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective use of our office spaces, while also supporting the growth and success of our organization.   1. Develop and implement occupancy planning strategies to optimize the use of office space and support the growth of the organization.
  2. Manage the day-to-day operations of the facilities, including coordinating moves, renovations, and space allocations.
  3. Collaborate with department heads and senior leadership to understand their space needs and create plans to meet those needs.
  4. Work closely with external vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of facility projects.
  5. Maintain accurate records and data related to space utilization, budget, and project timelines.
  6. Conduct regular audits of office spaces to ensure compliance with safety and accessibility regulations.
  7. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures for effective space management.
  8. Communicate with employees and stakeholders about facilities updates, changes, and upcoming projects.
  9. Provide guidance and support to department heads and employees to ensure proper use of space and facilities.
  10. Collaborate with HR and IT departments to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees in terms of office space and equipment needs.
  11. Manage and monitor facility budgets, including forecasting and cost-saving initiatives.
  12. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including building management, vendors, and contractors.
  13. Lead and mentor a team of facility coordinators and support staff.
  14. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices for facility management and incorporate them into the organization's operations.
  15. Represent the organization in meetings and negotiations related to facility planning and management.

This Includes Experience In Developing And Implementing Strategies For Optimizing Space Utilization And Managing Moves, Adds, And Changes.

  • Project Management Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Excellent Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Plan, Organize, And Execute Complex Facilities-Related Projects. This Includes Managing Budgets, Timelines, And Resources, As Well As Identifying And Mitigating Potential Risks.

  • Communication And Collaboration Abilities: As A Program Manager, Effective Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Vital For Success. This Role Involves Working Closely With Various Stakeholders, Including Cross-Functional Teams, Vendors, And External Partners. The Ability To Communicate Clearly And Build Strong Relationships Is Essential For Achieving Project Goals.

  • Experience With Workplace Design And Construction: Red Hat Is A Rapidly Growing Company, And A Program Manager For Facilities Occupancy Planning & Space Management Should Have Experience In Workplace Design And Construction. This Includes Knowledge Of Industry Standards, Building Codes, And Regulations, As Well As Experience In Managing Construction Projects From Start To Finish.
