Product Owner, ServiceNow CMDB

As a Product Owner, you will play a critical role in defining the vision, roadmap, and strategy for our CMDB product, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure its success. - Define and communicate the vision and strategy for the ServiceNow CMDB product within the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and prioritize product requirements, ensuring alignment with the overall business goals and objectives.
- Conduct market and competitive research to identify opportunities and develop innovative solutions for the CMDB product.
- Create and maintain a product roadmap, ensuring that it aligns with the company's overall product strategy and goals.
- Work closely with the development team to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and other product documentation.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries and provide regular updates to stakeholders and management.
- Conduct user research and gather feedback to continuously improve and enhance the CMDB product.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies and ensure successful product launches.
- Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to drive product success.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in ServiceNow CMDB to ensure the product remains competitive and meets customer needs.
- Serve as an advocate for the product, promoting its benefits and value proposition both internally and externally.
- Mentor and guide junior product team members, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Ensure all product development and releases adhere to quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.
- Maintain a strong customer focus and regularly engage with customers to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into product development.
- Continuously monitor and assess the competitive landscape to identify potential threats and opportunities for the CMDB product.
Strong Understanding Of Servicenow Cmdb: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Servicenow Cmdb And Its Capabilities, Including Its Configuration, Integration, And Management.
Experience In Product Ownership: A Successful Product Owner Should Have Prior Experience In Owning And Managing A Product, Preferably In The It Industry. This Includes Creating Product Roadmaps, Defining Requirements, And Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams.
Proven Project Management Skills: The Product Owner Will Be Responsible For Driving The Development And Delivery Of The Servicenow Cmdb, Thus They Should Have Excellent Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Prioritize Tasks, Meet Deadlines, And Manage Resources Effectively.
Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Key Liaison Between The Development Team And Stakeholders, The Product Owner Should Possess Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills. This Includes The Ability To Clearly Articulate Product Requirements, Provide Updates On Progress, And Gather Feedback From Stakeholders.
Knowledge Of Agile Methodology: Red Hat Follows Agile Methodology For Its Software Development Processes. Hence, The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Agile Principles And Practices, Including The Ability To Facilitate Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, And Retrospectives.
