Support and maintain various databases in the environment including but not limited to MongoDB, MariaDB/MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift, Amazon Web Services (AWS) RDS, AWS Aurora, and Microsoft SQL Server. Monitor and maintain uptime of mentioned databases. Respond and resolve customer requests within specified service level agreement (SLA) related to the data services they need. Maintain disaster recovery (DR) for various databases Participate in the team’s 24x7 on call rotation and provide occasional off-hours support based on the project requirements. Design and deliver overall database architecture strategy, standards, and practices as part of a team and align with Enterprise Architecture team. Create and present health reports of databases regularly and maintain dashboards. Work with support vendors like Oracle, AWS, MariaDB/MySQL, PostgreSQL and take actions as per service requests.
