Job Description

Provide overall leadership, guidance, and manage all aspects of a given program. Ensure that projects are correctly scoped and specified, delivered on time and on budget, and meet business and technical requirements. Provide excellent insight into new projects around dependencies or potential issues, influence the design of projects, and rapidly identify and resolve technical dependencies and risks. Provide coaching for team members to improve knowledge and delivery skills. Lead cross-functional meetings and foster teamwork; manage escalation and resolution of issues. Track progress against milestones, deadlines, and budget; manage the project’s budget and financial reporting. Develop resourcing strategies to ensure optimum support for projects and for the day-to-day operational activities. Develop detailed project plans and associated documentation for complex initiatives.

Job Qualifications

  • Solid knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures

  • Experience managing a portfolio of large and complex projects

  • 5+ years of project management or service delivery experience, including large-scale complex projects, large portfolios

  • Experience on a custom application development team a plus

  • Experience with Scrum, Lean, XP, Kanban, and other agile development techniques
