Job Description

Partner with stakeholders and budget owners to support business requirements. Support stakeholders’ spend requirements and priorities by guiding procurement-led initiatives including supplier consolidation and rationalization activities. Establish preferred suppliers and ensure that proper policies are used and applied. Gain knowledge of supplier markets and supply risk levels, assess supplier capabilities, and help define and improve company's local, regional, and global panel of suppliers. Select supplier sources by guiding competitive sourcing activities. Form contracts with selected suppliers to negotiate optimal commercial terms and conditions Establish consumption-based engagement models and operationalize negotiated contracts. Develop a strategy and approach to optimize key supplier partnerships and simplify the buying approach with rate cards.

Job Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of procurement experience reviewing with 2-3 years of experience negotiating IT Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) contracts

  • Extensive experience developing and leading strategic sourcing initiatives for IT and related purchases

  • Experience building solid relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders and suppliers

  • Experience leading multi-disciplined projects with minimal amount of supervision
