Job Description

Support the management of threatened and pending litigation for Red Bull North America and its affiliated companies including tort, contract, and employment disputes. Support Red Bull internal compliance efforts. Provide first level support on litigation and labor and employment questions from department lawyers. Research and provide early assessment of facts and law to communicate associated risks to internal clients and colleagues in the Legal Department. Maintain regular communication and report on significant case developments, litigation trends, and employment law updates with internal clients. Provide advice on the full range of labor & employment law issues including hiring, leave and accommodation, discipline, terminations, compliance, and compensation and benefits. Negotiate resolution of pre-litigation employment-related claims.

Job Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience at a top tier law firm, in-house at a comparable company

  • Current member in good standing, or registered in-house counsel, with the California bar

  • Experience with employment, labor and general commercial litigation

  • Experience providing advice and counsel on employment law topics
