Job Description

As the Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to support the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our athletes.   1. Develop and implement strategies to support the overall health and well-being of Red Bull athletes.
  2. Provide leadership and direction to the athlete health team, including coaches, trainers, and medical professionals.
  3. Collaborate with other departments, such as sports marketing and athlete management, to ensure a comprehensive approach to athlete health.
  4. Stay up-to-date on the latest research and trends in sports medicine and apply this knowledge to athlete health programs.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of athlete health initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and experts in the field of sports medicine.
  7. Create and manage budgets for athlete health programs and initiatives.
  8. Develop and implement injury prevention protocols and protocols for managing injuries.
  9. Coordinate and oversee medical support for events and competitions involving Red Bull athletes.
  10. Serve as a mentor and coach for athletes, providing guidance and support for their overall health and well-being.
  11. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to athlete health and safety.
  12. Communicate regularly with athletes, coaches, and other team members to ensure a collaborative and cohesive approach to athlete health.
  13. Represent Red Bull at conferences and events related to athlete health and sports medicine.
  14. Continuously seek ways to improve and innovate athlete health programs and initiatives.
  15. Foster a culture of health and wellness within the Red Bull athlete community.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Sports Medicine, Athletic Training, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Leadership Role Within Athlete Health And Wellness, Preferably In A High-Performance Sports Environment.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Sports Injury Prevention, Treatment, And Rehabilitation Protocols.

  • Proven Track Record Of Effectively Managing And Developing A Team Of Sports Medicine Professionals.

  • Ability To Communicate And Collaborate With Athletes, Coaches, And Other Members Of The Sports Performance Team To Optimize Athlete Health And Performance.
