- Lead and manage the overall performance of assigned value streams, ensuring they meet or exceed established targets and objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive continuous improvement in value stream operations, including identifying and eliminating waste, reducing lead time, and improving quality.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration in achieving value stream goals.
- Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions to optimize value stream performance.
- Drive a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement by providing training, coaching, and mentoring to team members.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators to track progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement standard work processes and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency across value streams.
- Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services to support value stream operations.
- Identify and mitigate risks to value stream performance and take proactive measures to address any issues.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve value stream processes and operations.
Strong Understanding Of Value Stream Mapping And Lean Principles: A Value Stream Lead At Raytheon Technologies Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Lean Principles And Value Stream Mapping Techniques To Effectively Identify Areas Of Improvement And Implement Lean Initiatives Within The Organization.
Excellent Project Management Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously, Set Goals And Deadlines, And Effectively Communicate Progress And Results To Stakeholders.
Proven Leadership Experience: The Value Stream Lead Must Have Experience Leading Cross-Functional Teams And Motivating Them To Achieve Common Goals. This Includes The Ability To Mentor And Develop Team Members, As Well As Resolve Conflicts And Promote A Positive Team Culture.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Key Member Of The Value Stream Team, The Value Stream Lead Must Be Able To Analyze Data, Identify Trends And Root Causes, And Develop Effective Solutions To Improve Processes And Eliminate Waste.
