  1. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality and reliable products and services are delivered on time.
  2. Evaluate and monitor supplier performance to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to maintain quality standards.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish supplier quality requirements and ensure they are met.
  4. Conduct audits and assessments of suppliers to assess their capabilities and compliance with company standards.
  5. Identify potential risks in the supply chain and work with suppliers to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  6. Monitor and analyze supplier data, trends, and metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  7. Communicate regularly with suppliers to address any issues or concerns and provide feedback on performance.
  8. Lead supplier selection and qualification processes, including conducting technical and quality assessments.
  9. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to continuously improve the supplier management process.
  10. Mentor and train junior supplier engineers to ensure a high level of expertise and knowledge within the team.
  11. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement supplier development plans.
  12. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
  13. Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier records and documentation.
  14. Participate in the development and implementation of supplier-related policies and procedures.
  15. Contribute to the overall success of the company by continuously striving for excellence and driving improvements in the supply chain.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or Related Field, With A Focus On Mechanical, Electrical, Or Aerospace Engineering.

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In A Supplier Engineering Role, Preferably In The Defense Or Aerospace Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Supplier Management Processes, Including Supplier Selection, Qualification, And Performance Monitoring.

  • Experience With Supplier Quality Management, Including Conducting Audits And Driving Continuous Improvement Initiatives.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interface With Internal Teams And External Suppliers.
