  1. Develop and implement quality standards and processes for the Forged Disks division in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
  2. Lead and manage quality assurance activities, including inspections, testing, and audits, to ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements.
  3. Analyze data and identify areas for improvement to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, to identify and resolve quality issues.
  5. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality problems.
  6. Train and mentor team members on quality processes and procedures to ensure consistent understanding and adherence.
  7. Monitor and report on quality metrics to senior management, identifying trends and recommending solutions to improve performance.
  8. Maintain and update quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and records, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  9. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in quality management and incorporate best practices into the quality program.
  10. Participate in customer and regulatory audits, providing information and documentation as needed to demonstrate compliance with quality standards.
  11. Drive a culture of continuous improvement, promoting a proactive approach to quality and driving efficiency and effectiveness in processes.
  12. Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related issues and inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In Quality Engineering, Preferably In The Aerospace Or Defense Industry.

  • Knowledge And Experience With Forging Processes And Metallurgical Properties Of Materials Used In Forged Disks.

  • Strong Understanding Of Quality Control Procedures And Standards, Including As9100 And Nadcap.

  • Proven Track Record Of Leading And Implementing Quality Improvement Initiatives, Such As Lean Manufacturing And Six Sigma.
