- Develop and implement advanced modeling, simulation, and analysis techniques to support the development of cutting-edge technologies and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives and requirements, and develop simulation models and analysis plans accordingly.
- Utilize industry-standard tools and software to create accurate and reliable simulations and analyses.
- Analyze simulation results and provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes.
- Stay updated on advancements in modeling, simulation, and analysis techniques and technologies, and apply them to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of simulations.
- Ensure the accuracy, validity, and consistency of all simulation models and analysis processes.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and results to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers in the team, providing technical guidance and support.
- Identify and troubleshoot any issues or challenges in the simulation process and develop solutions to overcome them.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and regulations.
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on the progress of simulations and analyses.
- Continuously review and improve simulation and analysis processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Extensive Experience In Modeling And Simulation: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Developing And Implementing Complex Models And Simulations For Defense Or Aerospace Systems. This Should Include Proficiency In Software Tools Such As Matlab, Simulink, And C++.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Senior Principal Engineer, The Candidate Should Possess Exceptional Analytical And Problem-Solving Abilities To Conceptualize, Design, And Validate Models And Simulations For Complex Systems. This Requires A Deep Understanding Of Physics, Mathematics, And Engineering Principles.
Leadership And Project Management Experience: This Role Involves Leading And Managing A Team Of Engineers And Scientists To Deliver On Projects Within Tight Deadlines. The Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Mentoring Teams, As Well As Managing Project Budgets And Schedules.
Subject Matter Expertise In Relevant Domains: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Relevant Domains Such As Radar Systems, Missile Defense, Or Aerospace Systems. This Includes Knowledge Of Industry Standards, Regulations, And Emerging Trends In These Areas.
