RF Technician

- Perform testing and troubleshooting of radio frequency equipment to ensure proper functionality and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain and calibrate RF equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Monitor and analyze RF data to identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop and implement solutions for RF equipment.
- Create and maintain documentation of all RF testing and maintenance procedures.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures while working with RF equipment.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in RF technology and incorporate new techniques and tools into testing and maintenance processes.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or potential safety hazards.
- Assist in the design and development of new RF equipment.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on proper testing and maintenance procedures.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of RF equipment.
- Manage inventory and ordering of RF equipment and supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Continuously strive for improvement and efficiency in RF testing and maintenance processes.
Strong Understanding Of Radio Frequency (Rf) Principles And Technologies: This Includes Knowledge Of Rf Signal Propagation, Modulation Techniques, And Various Rf Components Such As Amplifiers, Filters, And Mixers.
Experience With Rf Test Equipment And Measurement Techniques: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Hands-On Experience With Instruments Such As Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Power Meters, And Oscilloscopes, As Well As Knowledge Of Common Rf Test Procedures.
Proficiency In Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving: Rf Technicians Are Responsible For Identifying And Resolving Issues With Rf Systems And Components, So They Should Have A Strong Aptitude For Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Familiarity With Industry Standards And Regulations: As A Rf Technician At Raytheon Technologies, The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Relevant Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Fcc Regulations And Military Specifications.
Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills: Rf Technicians Often Work As Part Of A Larger Team, So Effective Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential. They Should Also Be Able To Document Their Work Accurately And Communicate Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
