  1. Lead a team of quality assurance technicians on the 2nd shift, ensuring they are trained and equipped to maintain the highest standards of quality for our products.
  2. Maintain a thorough understanding of company quality standards and procedures, and ensure they are followed and upheld by the team.
  3. Conduct regular inspections and audits of products and processes to identify any potential quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  4. Collaborate with other departments, such as Engineering and Production, to identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
  5. Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures, and continuously improve them to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  6. Train and mentor new quality assurance technicians, ensuring they have a strong understanding of company standards and procedures.
  7. Monitor production processes to ensure they are in compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  8. Communicate with suppliers and customers to address any quality concerns and provide necessary documentation.
  9. Keep accurate records and documentation of quality assurance processes and results, and prepare reports for management.
  10. Act as a role model for the team, promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience With Quality Management Systems: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Quality Management Systems Such As Iso 9001, As9100, And Six Sigma. They Should Be Able To Effectively Implement And Maintain These Systems To Ensure Product Quality And Compliance.

  • Leadership Skills: As A Group Lead, The Candidate Should Have Proven Experience In Leading And Managing A Team Of Quality Technicians. They Should Be Able To Provide Guidance, Mentorship, And Support To The Team To Ensure Efficient And Effective Execution Of Their Duties.

  • Quality Assurance Expertise: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Quality Assurance Processes And Procedures, Including Inspection, Testing, And Documentation. They Should Be Able To Identify And Resolve Quality Issues, As Well As Implement Corrective And Preventive Actions To Prevent Future Defects.

  • Technical Proficiency: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Technical Background, With Experience In The Aerospace Or Defense Industry. They Should Be Able To Interpret Technical Drawings, Specifications, And Requirements To Ensure Product Quality And Compliance.

  • Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Engineering, Production, And Supply Chain. They Should Also Be Able To Communicate Quality Metrics And Issues To Upper Management And Provide Recommendations For Improvement.
