  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  2. Conduct audits and assessments of supplier quality systems to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
  3. Identify and address potential quality issues in the supply chain, working closely with suppliers to implement corrective actions.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality requirements and criteria for new and existing suppliers.
  5. Monitor supplier performance and provide regular reports and updates to management.
  6. Proactively identify areas for improvement in the supplier quality process and implement solutions to drive continuous improvement.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry standards and regulations related to supplier quality management and ensure compliance within the supply chain.
  8. Lead or participate in supplier development initiatives to improve supplier capabilities and overall product quality.
  9. Communicate and resolve quality issues with suppliers in a timely and effective manner to minimize impact on production schedules.
  10. Act as a subject matter expert on supplier quality issues and provide guidance and support to internal teams as needed.
  11. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supplier quality performance, including documentation of audits, assessments, and corrective actions.
  12. Participate in cross-functional teams to review and approve new suppliers and materials, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications.
  13. Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the supply chain by promoting best practices and driving a high level of quality awareness.
  14. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to develop and implement quality improvement plans and initiatives.
  15. Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to supplier quality management, including ethical standards and confidentiality.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field

  • Experience With Root Cause Analysis And Corrective Action Processes

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Supplier Quality Engineering Or A Related Field

  • Strong Understanding Of Quality Management Systems And Industry Standards (E.g. Iso 9001, As9100)

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Suppliers And Internal Stakeholders.
