- Oversee the procurement of capital equipment for our operations, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships
- Develop project plans and timelines for the installation and maintenance of capital equipment, ensuring all deadlines are met and within budget
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify equipment needs and requirements for various projects and operations
- Manage the installation process, including coordinating with contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure proper installation and setup of equipment
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and work with maintenance teams to ensure all equipment is functioning properly and efficiently
- Monitor and track project expenses and budget, making adjustments as needed to stay within budget constraints
- Communicate regularly with project stakeholders and provide updates on project progress, potential risks, and any necessary changes
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving measures related to capital equipment
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in equipment technology to make recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during the procurement, installation, and maintenance of capital equipment.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or Related Field
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Managing Capital Equipment Projects In A Manufacturing Environment
Strong Project Management Skills, Including Budgeting, Scheduling, And Resource Allocation
Knowledge Of Six Sigma And Lean Manufacturing Principles
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And External Vendors.
