  1. Develop and implement effective information security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the protection of our organization's sensitive data.
  2. Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential security threats and develop mitigation strategies.
  3. Monitor and analyze system activity to detect and respond to any security breaches or incidents.
  4. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that security measures are integrated into the design and implementation of new systems and applications.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulations related to information security and make recommendations for improvement as needed.
  6. Provide training and support to employees on security protocols and best practices to ensure compliance with company policies.
  7. Serve as the primary point of contact for all security-related inquiries and incidents.
  8. Prepare and maintain security documentation, including system security plans, risk assessments, and contingency plans.
  9. Conduct regular audits to verify compliance with security policies and procedures.
  10. Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  11. Respond to security incidents and breaches in a timely and effective manner, documenting and reporting them according to company policies.
  12. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of security controls and make recommendations for improvement.
  13. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve security issues and vulnerabilities.
  14. Communicate and escalate security concerns, risks, and incidents to management and other stakeholders as necessary.
  15. Participate in meetings and trainings related to information security to stay current on emerging threats and technologies.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Information Security, Preferably In A Government Or Defense Contracting Environment

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Security Regulations Such As Nist, Fisma, And Diacap

  • Experience With Risk Assessment And Management Processes, Including Vulnerability Assessments And Security Audits

  • Possess Industry Certifications Such As Cissp, Cism, Or Cisa, Or Willingness To Obtain Them Within A Specified Timeframe.
