- Conduct research and analysis to understand human behavior and cognition in relation to our products and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate human factors and ergonomics principles into product design and development.
- Identify and prioritize human factors considerations to enhance the safety, efficiency, and usability of our products and systems.
- Develop and execute human factors test plans and protocols to evaluate the usability and effectiveness of our products.
- Analyze and interpret data from human factors studies to inform design decisions and recommendations.
- Identify potential human error risks and provide recommendations for mitigating them.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulations related to human factors and ergonomics.
- Communicate human factors concepts and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure human factors considerations are integrated into project timelines and deliverables.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of human factors processes and standards within the organization.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Human Factors Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Human Factors Engineering, Preferably In A Defense Or Aerospace Industry.
Proficient Knowledge Of Human Factors Principles, Methods, And Tools, Such As User Testing, Cognitive Task Analysis, And Human Error Analysis.
Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Engineers, Designers, And Project Managers.
Familiarity With Relevant Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Mil-Std-1472 And Iso 9241, To Ensure Compliance In Product Design And Development.
