  1. Coordinate Material Logistics: The Facilities Material Planner will be responsible for coordinating the procurement and delivery of materials for all facilities projects. This includes working closely with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials.
  2. Plan and Forecast Material Needs: This role requires the ability to anticipate and plan for future material needs based on project timelines and requirements. The Facilities Material Planner will be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate material forecasts to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
  3. Manage Inventory: The Facilities Material Planner will be responsible for managing inventory levels for materials used in facilities projects. This includes monitoring stock levels, ordering replenishments, and tracking usage to ensure optimal inventory levels.
  4. Communicate with Stakeholders: Strong communication skills are essential for this role. The Facilities Material Planner will need to regularly communicate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and procurement teams, to provide updates on material status and address any issues that may arise.
  5. Ensure Quality Control: As materials play a crucial role in the success of facilities projects, the Facilities Material Planner must ensure that all materials meet quality standards and specifications. This may involve conducting quality checks and working closely with suppliers to resolve any quality issues.
  6. Optimize Supply Chain: The Facilities Material Planner will be responsible for identifying opportunities to optimize the supply chain and reduce costs. This may involve negotiating with vendors for better pricing or finding alternative suppliers.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Materials Planning Or Supply Chain Management In A Manufacturing Or Aerospace Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Inventory Management Principles And Experience With Inventory Control Systems.

  • Proficiency In Using Enterprise Resource Planning (Erp) Software, Such As Sap Or Oracle.

  • Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Suppliers.
