  1. Maintain and troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems and equipment.
  2. Design, develop, and implement automation processes and procedures.
  3. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve and optimize automation technology.
  4. Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on automation systems.
  5. Identify and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  6. Monitor and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  7. Create and maintain detailed documentation of all automation processes and procedures.
  8. Train and mentor junior technicians on electro-mechanical automation systems.
  9. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working with automated equipment.
  10. Continuously research and stay up-to-date on advancements in automation technology.
  11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of new automation systems.
  12. Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers to source necessary components and equipment.
  13. Maintain inventory and order necessary parts for repairs and upgrades.
  14. Participate in meetings and provide insights and recommendations for automation improvements.
  15. Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Degree In Electrical Or Mechanical Engineering: A Strong Educational Background In Either Electrical Or Mechanical Engineering Is Essential For An Electro-Mechanical Automation Technician Role At Raytheon Technologies. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Solid Understanding Of The Principles And Concepts Involved In Automation Technology.

  • Proficiency In Automation Systems: Candidates Should Have Experience Working With Various Automation Systems, Such As Programmable Logic Controllers (Plcs), Human-Machine Interfaces (Hmis), And Motion Control Systems. They Should Also Be Familiar With Industry-Standard Programming Languages, Such As Ladder Logic And Structured Text.

  • Knowledge Of Mechanical Systems: In Addition To Automation Systems, Candidates Should Also Have A Good Understanding Of Mechanical Systems, Including Motors, Drives, And Sensors. This Will Enable Them To Troubleshoot And Repair Any Mechanical Issues That May Arise In Automated Systems.

  • Hands-On Experience: Raytheon Technologies Is Looking For Candidates Who Have Hands-On Experience In Troubleshooting And Repairing Automation Systems.
