We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director & Senior Counsel to join our Government Contracts Compliance team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and providing legal counsel on all aspects of government contracts compliance for our company. We are looking for a dynamic and strategic leader with a strong background in government contracts law, as well as a passion for ensuring ethical and compliant business practices.   1. Oversee all aspects of government contracts compliance for the company, ensuring adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
  2. Provide legal counsel and guidance to various departments and teams on government contracts compliance matters.
  3. Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure ethical and compliant business practices.
  4. Stay up-to-date on changes in government contracts laws and regulations, and advise the company accordingly.
  5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks.
  6. Conduct internal audits and investigations to ensure compliance with government contracts requirements.
  7. Develop training programs and materials to educate employees on government contracts compliance.
  8. Advise on and review all government contracts and related documents.
  9. Serve as the company’s point of contact for all government contracts compliance inquiries and audits.
  10. Collaborate with external legal counsel on complex government contracts compliance matters.
  11. Prepare and submit required reports and disclosures to government agencies.
  12. Serve as a strategic leader and advisor, recommending innovative solutions to improve the company’s compliance efforts.
  13. Represent the company in government contracts-related legal proceedings, if necessary.
  14. Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s business operations and identify potential compliance risks.
  15. Uphold the company’s reputation and integrity by ensuring compliance with all government contracts requirements.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Law, Business, Or Public Administration.

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Government Contracts Compliance, Preferably With A Large Defense Contractor.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Federal Acquisition Regulations (Far), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (Dfars), And Other Relevant Laws And Regulations.

  • Demonstrated Experience In Managing And Leading A Team Of Compliance Professionals.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact Effectively With Government Officials And Senior Management.
