- Monitor and analyze network traffic and system logs to identify potential security incidents.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, including conducting forensic analysis and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with security teams and other departments to identify and address vulnerabilities and security gaps.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures.
- Conduct threat and risk assessments to proactively identify potential security threats.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging cyber threats to continuously improve incident response capabilities.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other teams and departments on security best practices.
- Communicate and report security incidents to management and other stakeholders.
- Participate in security incident simulations and exercises to test incident response plans.
- Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
- Conduct post-incident analysis and provide recommendations for improvements to prevent future incidents.
- Maintain and update incident response tools and technologies.
- Train and educate employees on cyber security best practices.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors on incident response and threat intelligence sharing.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of company and customer data.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Security, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Incident Response Or A Related Field.
Knowledge Of Current Cyber Security Threats And Attack Techniques.
Familiarity With Various Security Tools And Technologies, Including Siem, Intrusion Detection Systems, And Vulnerability Scanners.
Certifications Such As Cissp, Giac, Or Cism Are Preferred.
