- Perform calibration and testing of various equipment and instruments according to established procedures and standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all calibration activities and results.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and make necessary repairs.
- Maintain and calibrate specialized equipment, such as laser trackers, accelerometers, and oscilloscopes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure proper calibration of equipment for specific projects.
- Recommend and implement improvements to calibration processes and procedures.
- Conduct periodic audits and inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly and accurately.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on calibration procedures and best practices.
- Keep abreast of new technologies and industry advancements in calibration techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding calibration activities and results.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy of calibration processes.
- Complete all required documentation and reports accurately and on time.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Engineering, Physics, Or Mathematics.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Calibration And Metrology.
Strong Understanding Of Calibration Techniques And Standards, Including Iso 17025.
Proficient In The Use Of Calibration Equipment And Software, Such As Fluke Met/Cal And Met/Track.
Excellent Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Resolve Issues With Precision Instrumentation.
