Job Description

The successful candidate will be an integral member of the Space and Airborne Systems IT Engineering Solutions Electrical Engineering team as a senior applications technologist. This team is responsible for researching, piloting, & delivering Electrical Engineering tools, automated solutions and best practices in support of the Raytheon SAS Electrical Engineering Community. Proactively manage priorities and organize work schedule in a dynamic, interrupt driven environment. Build relationships with engineers across Raytheon businesses to develop and deliver integrated engineering solutions. Champion the planning and deployment of new and existing integrated engineering solutions, and consult/support programs on the implementation. Responsibilities include leading technical teams; own and review deliverables for accuracy, quality and completeness. Lead process definition and improvement tasks with customer participation. Provide consulting support during implementation and sustainment of technical solutions.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience with exposure to design tooling and design techniques

  • Knowledge of Electrical Design - specifically CCA design and the associated tools

  • Familiarity with one or more of the following Suppliers: Siemens (aka Mentor Graphics – EDM / Xpedition / Valor NPI) and DownStream (Blueprint)

  • Knowledge of internally developed tools such as PCAT/Pro

  • Knowledge around OpenGL, remote computing and Cloud computing in support of a virtual engineering teaming
