- Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) on critical components and materials using various techniques such as ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant testing.
- Conduct inspections according to established procedures and standards to ensure the quality and safety of our products.
- Analyze test results and generate detailed reports to document findings and identify any defects or anomalies.
- Use specialized equipment and tools to perform NDT, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the inspection process.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all NDT activities, including test results, equipment calibration, and maintenance.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing NDT inspections.
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and changes in NDT techniques and procedures.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in NDT.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For A 2Nd Shift G1 Ndt Inspector At Raytheon Technologies Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Understanding Of Math, Science, And Technical Skills.
Certification In Non-Destructive Testing (Ndt): A Valid Certification In Ndt Methods Such As Ultrasonic Testing (Ut), Liquid Penetrant Testing (Pt), Magnetic Particle Testing (Mt), Or Radiographic Testing (Rt) Is A Must For This Position. This Certification Demonstrates The Candidate's Knowledge And Proficiency In Performing Ndt Inspections.
Prior Experience In Aerospace Or Manufacturing Industry: Raytheon Technologies Is A Leading Company In The Aerospace And Defense Industry, So Prior Experience In This Field Is Highly Desirable. Candidates With Experience In Manufacturing, Quality Control, Or Ndt Inspection In The Aerospace Industry Will Have An Edge Over Others.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A 2Nd Shift G1 Ndt Inspector, One Must Be Able To Interpret And Analyze Ndt Results Accurately And Make Critical Decisions Based On The Findings. Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills Are Essential For This Role.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: The 2Nd Shift At Raytheon Technologies Typically Runs From 3 Pm To 11 Pm, And The Ndt Inspector Must Be Able To Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Environment. This Includes Managing Multiple Tasks, Meeting Deadlines, And Adapting To Changes In The Production Schedule. Excellent Time-Management And Organizational Skills Are Crucial For Success In This Role.
