- Stocking and maintaining the produce and general merchandise shelves to ensure they are always well-stocked and visually appealing for customers.
- Inspecting and selecting the freshest and highest quality produce items for display and sale.
- Rotating and replenishing produce and general merchandise products to ensure freshness and prevent expiration.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the produce and general merchandise areas, including removing any damaged or expired products.
- Assisting customers with product inquiries and providing recommendations for produce and general merchandise items.
- Adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of all produce and general merchandise products.
- Operating equipment such as scales and slicers to weigh and prepare produce items for sale.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
- Participating in inventory counts and restocking orders as needed.
- Providing exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Staying up-to-date on product knowledge and promotions to effectively communicate with customers.
