- Maintaining and organizing the produce and general merchandise departments to ensure they are fully stocked and visually appealing.
- Providing excellent customer service by assisting customers with their produce and general merchandise needs.
- Ensuring the quality and freshness of all produce products, such as fruits and vegetables.
- Receiving and stocking incoming produce and general merchandise shipments.
- Rotating and restocking products to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
- Monitoring inventory levels and communicating any shortages or overages to management.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area, including display cases, shelves, and storage areas.
- Adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of all products.
- Assisting with pricing, labeling, and signage of products.
- Providing suggestions and recommendations to customers based on their needs and preferences.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient and effective operations of the produce and general merchandise departments.
