Pharmacy Technician

At Ralphs, we are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for providing excellent customer service and a commitment to accuracy in preparing medications.The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for working in collaboration with the Pharmacist to dispense medication, answer customer questions, resolve customer complaints, and ensure patient safety. This individual must have a deep understanding of pharmacy laws and regulations, and must be comfortable performing medication reviews and maintaining accurate records.To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of two years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician, a Pharmacy Technician Certification, and a valid state Board of Pharmacy license. Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Pharmacist in dispensing and preparing medications, including verifying accuracy and completeness of prescriptions.
2. Answer customer questions regarding medications, including providing appropriate information and instructions.
3. Resolve customer complaints, as necessary.
4. Maintain accurate records of medications, including patient profiles, prescription orders, and refill requests.
5. Perform medication reviews to ensure patient safety.
6. Follow all applicable federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations.
7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
8. Provide excellent customer service.
9. Adhere to all safety protocols.
10. Assist with other pharmacy duties, as needed.
