Ralphs is looking for an enthusiastic and dependable individual to join our team as a Courtesy Clerk. As a Courtesy Clerk, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a pleasant and enjoyable shopping experience for all Ralphs customers. We are looking for someone who is a team player, detail-oriented and able to provide efficient, friendly service on each shift.To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent customer service skills, the ability to multitask and a pleasant demeanor. An ideal Courtesy Clerk should have some retail, customer service, or related experience and be able to work flexible hours. Responsibilities:

-Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner

-Provide excellent customer service and ensure a pleasant and enjoyable shopping experience -Assist customers with locating items and answering questions -Process customers’ orders in a timely and efficient manner -Scan items and place them in bags -Collect payment from customers and provide change, if necessary -Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store -Assist in stocking shelves and facing items -Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions -Answer customer inquiries in a courteous and friendly manner -Ensure that all products are properly priced and labeled -Maintain knowledge of store promotions and sale items -Provide assistance to other departments, as needed -Follow all company policies and procedures
