Welcome to Ralphs, where we are passionate about providing our customers with the best selection of high-quality cheese. We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and friendly Cheese Shop Clerk to join our team. As a member of our cheese department, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and have access to a wide selection of delicious cheeses. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for cheese, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset.   1. Greet and welcome customers to the cheese shop with a friendly and positive attitude.
  2. Maintain a thorough knowledge of all cheese products, including origin, flavor profiles, and pairing suggestions.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, making recommendations, and offering samples.
  4. Ensure the cheese display is visually appealing and fully stocked at all times.
  5. Accurately label and price products according to company guidelines.
  6. Take customer orders and prepare cheese platters or gift baskets as requested.
  7. Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain a well-stocked cheese department.
  8. Follow proper sanitation and food safety procedures to ensure the highest quality products for customers.
  9. Assist with receiving and storing cheese deliveries.
  10. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
  11. Continuously educate yourself on new cheese products and industry trends.
  12. Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional and efficient manner.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  14. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  15. Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
