1. Greet and welcome customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
2. Maintain a clean and organized bakery and deli department.
3. Assist customers in finding and selecting products, and provide recommendations based on their needs.
4. Ensure all products are properly stocked, rotated, and labeled according to company policies.
5. Prepare and package bakery and deli items such as sandwiches, cakes, and deli meats.
6. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe and healthy environment for customers and employees.
7. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
8. Communicate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient service to customers.
9. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing and resolving any customer concerns or complaints.
10. Continuously learn about new products and promotions to accurately inform customers.
11. Operate equipment such as ovens, slicers, and scales safely and proficiently.
12. Maintain inventory levels and assist with placing orders as needed.
13. Collaborate with team members to complete tasks and achieve department goals.
14. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
15. Flexible to work in both bakery and deli departments as needed.
16. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
