- Maintain a high level of customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their bakery and deli needs.
- Ensure that all bakery and deli items are displayed and stocked according to company standards.
- Prepare and package bakery and deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and baked goods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery and deli areas, including maintaining proper sanitation practices.
- Follow all food safety and handling procedures to ensure the quality and freshness of all bakery and deli products.
- Keep track of inventory levels and assist with ordering and restocking supplies as needed.
- Provide product recommendations and answer any customer inquiries about bakery and deli items.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the bakery and deli department.
- Keep up-to-date with new products and promotions to effectively promote and sell bakery and deli items.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including cash handling and safety protocols.
- Maintain a positive and friendly attitude towards customers and co-workers at all times.
- Follow all company guidelines for customer service, including handling complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Continuously strive to improve and enhance the overall customer experience in the bakery and deli department.

- Perform other job-related tasks and duties as assigned by the Bakery/Deli Manager.
Knowledge Of Bakery And Deli Products: A Strong Understanding Of Different Types Of Breads, Pastries, And Deli Meats And Cheeses Is Essential For This Role. This Includes Knowledge Of Ingredients, Preparation Methods, And Proper Storage And Handling Techniques.
Customer Service Skills: As A Bakery/Deli Clerk, You Will Interact With Customers On A Daily Basis, Taking Orders, Answering Questions, And Providing Recommendations. Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills Are Necessary To Ensure A Positive Shopping Experience For Customers.
Food Safety And Sanitation: Working With Food Requires Strict Adherence To Safety And Sanitation Protocols To Prevent Contamination And Maintain Freshness.
