1. Prepare and display a wide variety of freshly baked goods and deli items for customers to choose from.
2. Assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering any questions they may have and providing recommendations.
3. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment, countertops, and display cases.
4. Ensure that all products are properly labeled and priced.
5. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying the manager when items need to be restocked.
6. Operate bakery and deli equipment, such as ovens, mixers, and slicers, following safety and sanitation guidelines.
7. Follow recipes and portion sizes to maintain consistency in product quality.
8. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
9. Follow health and safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the safety of customers and fellow employees.
10. Continuously learn about new products and techniques in the bakery and deli departments to provide a better experience for customers.
11. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
12. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including dress code and attendance guidelines.
13. Take responsibility for opening and closing duties, including setting up and cleaning workstations.
14. Perform other related duties as assigned by the manager.
