Assistant Bakery Team Lead

3. Train and mentor team members on baking techniques, customer service, and company policies and procedures.
4. Create and maintain a positive and productive work environment for the bakery team.
5. Collaborate with the Bakery Team Lead to develop and implement strategies for increasing sales and improving customer satisfaction.
6. Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of ingredients and supplies.
7. Assist with scheduling and managing staff to ensure proper coverage and efficient operation of the bakery department.
8. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth coordination of daily tasks.
9. Enforce food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
10. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures within the bakery department.
11. Assist in creating and implementing new recipes and product offerings to meet customer demands and trends.
12. Provide excellent customer service by answering any questions or addressing any concerns regarding baked goods.
13. Foster a positive and collaborative relationship with the bakery team, other departments, and management.
14. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments in baking techniques and products.
15. Lead by example by demonstrating a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and passion for baking.
