VMware Cloud Architect

We’re looking for an experienced and innovative VMware Cloud Architect to join the Rackspace team! Our ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with the ability to design and optimize cloud solutions that meet our customer’s ever-changing needs.The VMware Cloud Architect will be responsible for developing best practices, maintaining and integrating our cloud environment, and leveraging VMware virtualization technologies to deliver cloud-based solutions to our customers. The successful candidate will have the ability to troubleshoot and optimize cloud architecture, evaluate and recommend cloud solutions, and perform other tasks related to the delivery of cloud-based solutions.The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in a computing related field or equivalent experience, 4+ years of experience in VMware virtualization technologies, and 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and/or engineering. A deep understanding of VMware products and solutions and experience with public cloud vendors such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform are also essential.
