Linux DevOps Engineer

Rackspace is looking for a Linux DevOps Engineer to join our team! Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Linux systems administration, with expertise in scripting and automation, and a passion for DevOps culture. The right person will enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and have a drive to exceed our customer’s expectations.Required qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)• 3+ years of experience in Linux systems administration• Expertise in scripting and automation (e.g. Bash, Python, Ansible)• Working knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)• Experience with monitoring and logging systems (e.g. Prometheus, ELK, Grafana, etc.)• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Ability to work independently and with a team• Passion for DevOps culture and continuous improvement
