Surgical Pathologist
We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Staff Pathologist with surgical pathology and dermatopathology or cytopathology interest or training for our AmeriPath MidAtlantic/Nichols Institute lab in Chantilly VA. This position will be responsible for AP/CP Pathology as part of the Chantilly based AmeriPath and Esoteric Business Unit. Perform review of anatomic pathology patient samples and quality control and assurance documents. Perform review of clinical pathology results and quality control and assurance documents. Participate in departmental professional Quality Control and Quality Assurance activities, e.g. Pathologist Competency Assessment Program. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information concerning patients, physicians, employees, clients, vendors, and the company.
AP/CP Pathologist with 3 + years’ experience sign-out post fellowship
Experience within a laboratory setting
Must have or be able to obtain a NYS COQ in histopathology as well as potentially a few others.
