  1. Accurately and efficiently process patient specimens for laboratory testing.
  2. Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure specimen integrity and accuracy of results.
  3. Perform data entry and labeling of specimens with attention to detail and accuracy.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient workflow.
  5. Demonstrate knowledge of specimen types, handling, and storage requirements.
  6. Communicate effectively with laboratory staff and healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate specimen processing.
  7. Adhere to all safety and quality control guidelines to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
  8. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with specimen collection, processing, or labeling.
  9. Keep updated on industry trends and best practices related to specimen collection and processing.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
  11. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  12. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with care.
  14. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  15. Represent Quest Diagnostics in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or Related Field

  • Certification As A Medical Laboratory Technician (Mlt) Or Equivalent

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Laboratory Setting

  • Knowledge Of Laboratory Safety Protocols And Procedures

  • Proficient In Using Laboratory Equipment And Computer Systems For Data Entry And Analysis
