  1. Develop and implement training programs for new team members on proper specimen handling and processing techniques.
  2. Conduct training sessions and ensure all new team members are properly trained and equipped to perform their job duties.
  3. Create training materials, including manuals, presentations, and hands-on activities, to effectively teach proper specimen processing procedures.
  4. Monitor and evaluate trainees' progress and provide feedback and support as needed.
  5. Collaborate with management to identify training needs and develop training plans to address any knowledge or skill gaps.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and changes in specimen processing techniques and incorporate them into training programs.
  7. Ensure all trainees adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  8. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
  9. Assist with the orientation and onboarding process for new employees.
  10. Participate in the hiring process by conducting interviews and assessing candidates' knowledge and skills in specimen processing.
  11. Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for team members regarding specimen processing and handling.
  12. Maintain accurate records of training activities and trainee progress.
  13. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and enhance the training program to ensure its effectiveness.
  14. Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent the company's values and mission during training sessions.
  15. Collaborate with other department trainers to ensure consistent and standardized training across all teams.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Specimen Processing: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 3 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Laboratory Or Healthcare Setting, With A Strong Understanding Of Specimen Collection And Processing Procedures.

  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field: A Bachelor's Degree In A Science-Related Field Such As Biology, Medical Technology, Or Clinical Laboratory Science Is Preferred For This Role. This Educational Background Will Provide The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Effectively Train Others In Specimen Processing.

  • Strong Communication And Training Skills: The Specimen Processing Trainer Will Be Responsible For Delivering Training To New And Existing Employees, So Excellent Communication And Training Skills Are Essential. The Ability To Explain Complex Concepts In A Clear And Concise Manner Is Crucial For This Role.

  • Knowledge Of Laboratory Regulations And Compliance: The Specimen Processing Trainer Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Laboratory Regulations And Compliance, Including Clia, Hipaa, And Osha. This Knowledge Is Necessary To Ensure That All Employees Are Trained To Follow The Proper Protocols And Maintain Compliance With These Regulations.

  • Experience With Training And Development: Previous Experience In A Training And Development Role Is Highly Desirable For This Position. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience Creating And Delivering Training Programs, As Well As Evaluating The Effectiveness Of These Programs.
