1. Develop and monitor policies and procedures for specimen processing.
2. Maintain effective working relationships with laboratory staff, vendors and clients.
3. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of specimen processing.
4. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality control standards.
5. Monitor and report on the performance of specimen processing staff.
6. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
7. Assist with the training and development of specimen processing staff.
8. Assist with the troubleshooting of specimen processing issues.
9. Participate in regular reviews and audits of specimen processing procedures.
10. Provide support to laboratory staff in order to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
