- Develop and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures for the laboratory division, in accordance with industry regulations and standards.
- Conduct audits and inspections to assess compliance with quality standards and identify any areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with laboratory personnel to identify and address quality issues and implement corrective measures.
- Ensure all laboratory processes and procedures are properly documented and adhere to regulatory and company requirements.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and deliver training programs for laboratory staff on quality assurance procedures and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance and proactively make any necessary changes to policies and procedures.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement new processes and technologies to improve quality and efficiency.
- Participate in external quality assurance programs and work with external partners to maintain and improve quality standards.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on quality assurance matters to laboratory staff and management.
Bachelor's Degree In Science: A Specialist In Quality Assurance At Quest Diagnostics Should Possess A Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Scientific Discipline Such As Biology, Chemistry, Or Medical Technology. This Educational Background Ensures A Strong Understanding Of Laboratory Procedures And Processes.
Laboratory Experience: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Laboratory Setting. This Experience Should Include Hands-On Experience With Laboratory Equipment, Quality Control Procedures, And Laboratory Regulations.
Quality Assurance Training: A Specialist In Quality Assurance Should Have Formal Training In Quality Assurance Processes And Techniques. This Includes Knowledge Of Quality Control Methods, Audit Procedures, And Compliance Regulations.
Attention To Detail: Quality Assurance Is A Critical Aspect Of Laboratory Operations, And As Such, A Specialist In This Role Must Have A Strong Attention To Detail. This Includes The Ability To Identify And Troubleshoot Errors, Analyze Data Accurately, And Maintain Meticulous Records.
