  1. Develop and implement comprehensive environmental health and safety programs to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  2. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  3. Provide expert advice and guidance on EHS matters to all levels of the organization, including senior management.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain a culture of safety and compliance throughout the organization.
  5. Develop and deliver EHS training programs to educate employees on safe work practices and procedures.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in EHS to continuously improve and enhance our programs.
  7. Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement preventative measures.
  8. Monitor and analyze EHS metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address them.
  9. Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies and ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained and maintained.
  10. Manage and maintain EHS records and documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  11. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure safe and compliant disposal of hazardous materials.
  12. Lead emergency response and crisis management efforts as needed.
  13. Mentor and train junior EHS specialists to develop their skills and knowledge.
  14. Represent the company in EHS-related meetings and conferences.
  15. Continuously identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the overall EHS program.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Occupational Health And Safety, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Ehs Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Laboratory Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Ehs Regulations, Including Osha, Epa, And Dot.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Assess Risks And Develop Effective Solutions.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Educate Employees On Ehs Policies And Procedures.
