  1. Perform blood draws and other specimen collections in a timely and efficient manner, following established protocols and safety procedures.
  2. Accurately label and process specimens, ensuring proper identification and handling to maintain the integrity of the sample.
  3. Utilize proper techniques and equipment to minimize discomfort and risk for patients during phlebotomy procedures.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of biohazardous materials.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional customer service and ensure accurate test results.
  6. Adhere to all regulatory requirements and company policies to ensure compliance and maintain patient confidentiality.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies with specimens or test orders.
  8. Participate in quality control and assurance activities to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
  9. Continuously update and maintain knowledge of phlebotomy techniques, safety protocols, and industry developments.
  10. Provide training and guidance to new phlebotomists and other support staff as needed.
  11. Collaborate with other departments and team members to ensure smooth and efficient workflow and patient care.
  12. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all phlebotomy procedures and patient information.
  13. Act as a positive representative of the company, embodying our mission and values in all interactions with patients and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Patients, Healthcare Providers, And Laboratory Staff In A Professional And Compassionate Manner.

  • Certified Phlebotomy Technician (Cpt) Or Equivalent Certification From A Recognized Accrediting Body, Such As The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp) Or The National Healthcareer Association (Nha).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Phlebotomist In A Clinical Laboratory Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Phlebotomy Techniques And Procedures, Including Venipuncture, Capillary Puncture, And Specimen Handling And Processing.

  • Knowledge Of Laboratory Test Orders And Specimen Requirements, As Well As Experience With Electronic Medical Records And Laboratory Information Systems.
